The Pearl ,written by John Steinbeck, is a story that carry out a story of man name Kino tried to find money to heal his only son from scorpion’s poison. This story contains a lot of animals that carry out its meaning. The author has put some interesting or a big role play out of all the animal in the story. Those animals are Scorpion, Oyster, and Snake. Here are some exciting things that I thought of this animal.
Scorpion is an animal that changes Kino’s life from a peaceful to a chaotic life. The Scorpion stung the baby and injected the poison, that will kill the baby, making Kino and Juana terrified.
This event made the whole village shocked and terrified. This animal makes the whole story of the family change from peaceful to chaotic, worries, terrified in a moment.
Oyster is an animal that plays a significant role after the Scorpion. Oyster is an animal that creates pearls. Pearl is a jewel that Kino’s hometown spend their time working in a hard job to find them. The bigger, the better.
Snake is an animal that is scary, terrified, and aggressive. Snake usually crawl up to its prey secretly and attack carefully. In the story, it shows the audience that something fishy or violence is about to happen.
The story The Pearl is a story that contains a lot of mystery, symbolism, and some easter eggs that we should learn from. It also contains many animals, but he chose this three because it is exciting and has some good role play.
Nice. What changes were made in the second draft?
ReplyDeleteI seem to see some first person references within the text.
